Our latest seasonal espresso from Guatemala just in time for the change of season. This lot has a well rounded and nicely balanced profile with an extraction that makes that perfect smooth espresso of chocolate caramel sweetness, and an amaretto after taste.
This farm is known as El Venadito, “The Fawn,” because deer are native to the region.
"El Venadito" is the coffee project of Raul Morales who is a third generation coffee farmer. With over 25 years of experience in coffee production they have seen a big improvement in their quality of life in recent years by focusing more on the speciality coffee market. Today we are really happy to have one of their lots which really stood out to us on the cupping table as one of our favourite Guatemala coffee of the year.
